In partnership with Lerwick Port Authority we have been involved in the Light the North, Lighthouse trail.<\/p>\n

This trail shines a light across the north-east, Orkney and Shetland with fifty lighthouse sculptures designed and created by some of the UK\u2019s most talented artists.<\/p>\n

At the end of the trail, each of the lighthouses will be auctioned off to raise funds for Clan Cancer Support<\/strong>, providing support to people affected by cancer across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.<\/p>\n

The pupils in our current P7 class designed and created a lighthouse which can be seen on display in Mareel.<\/p>\n

In order to raise awareness of this trail an activity sheet has been designed by our art teacher, Ms Birnie and the P7 pupils.\u00a0 Any pupil can collect a paper copy of the activity sheet from Ms Birnie or print off one from below.\u00a0 Completed sheets should be returned to the class teacher.\u00a0 Any pupil who hands in a completed sheet will receive a reward.<\/p>\n
