We are thrilled to be involved in supporting the RAF celebrate their centenary.<\/p>\n

One of the most exciting events taking place is the RAF100 Baton Relay which sees a specially designed baton visit 100 sites associated with the RAF in 100 days.\u00a0 As part of this relay the baton will travel to RAF Saxa Vord in a Typhoon fast jet from Lossiemouth\u00a0 this afternoon.<\/p>\n

To make the event even more symbolic the jet will carry out a low-level jet flypast over Bell’s Brae Primary School this afternoon at approximately 2.15pm.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Squadron Leader\u00a0Daniela Nowalski has been co-ordinating this event with staff at the school and will visit the school this afternoon with a replica baton.<\/p>\n

Working with the RAF’s partner the Big Ideas Company we have received resources to support their ‘Remember RAF100 Project’ and involve our learners in this celebration.<\/p>\n
