Maths is part of everyday life!  Young children learn about numbers and other mathematical concepts through experiencing them as part of everyday routines and activities.

Baking – We need to add 3 more eggs to the bowl

Setting the table – Your round plate is next to mine at the table

Walking to Nursery – I can see 2 red cars over there

Singing rhymes – 10 green bottles, 5 little ducks go swimming one day
