We went shopping!

A small group of children went on a shopping trip to purchase items for Nursery.

Children got to experience searching for the items in the shop, taking the items to the till to pay for them using real money and travelling back to Nursery with the items.

“Bananas and shaving foam is on our list”.

“Thank you”.    “Money to pay”.    “We’ve done our shopping”.

“Stop, look, listen”.

“We wear our vests so cars can see us”.

Children were keen to observe and discuss everything they saw around them on our walk in our local community on the way to the shop.

“Sky is so blue”.
