We made these cool baubles using potato printing
We used potatoes we grew in our nursery Tattie rig.
We made Christmas tree Xmas card collages this year.
While making firework and Diwali pictures we used crayon shavings to make the patterns. We were encouraged to use pincer grip to pick up the shavings. Pincer grip is very important for fine motor development and handwriting. We then put the pictures into the oven so the crayons melted together and then added glitter for some sparkle.

We used our Autumn colours tray to work on sorting quantities and numbers
We then used paint to create Autumn pictures
We have been learning about Fruit and Veg and discussing healthy eating.
We have been doing self portraits as part of the school enterprise project to make BJHS tea towels. Some of the children wanted to put their ones up for all to see.
We came 3rd at the Unst Show in the under 5’s paper plate creation, with our “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. We have used him to make a display. Mrs Thomson also read us the story in library.
