We had some spooky goings on and lots of fun with pumpkins at the start of term.
We made and sold some yummy Apple and Plum jam using the fruit from our polytunnel, we sent the money we raised to action aid.
October 6th
As part of our healthy eating topic, we made some delicious soup and even chopped the veg ourselves.
We have been learning about Fruit and Veg and discussing healthy eating.
Mrs Stockley (Mid Yell Nursery Teacher) visited us for a day so we could share practises and discuss planning while also getting to see how we work during a session.
Mrs Kennerley also got the chance to visit Mid Yell nursery where she worked before coming here. We plan to continue these visits to help us going forward.
We made some yummy cakes for our “Blog Going Live” Coffee Morning

We have been doing self portraits as part of the school enterprise project to make BJHS tea towels. Some of the children wanted to put their ones up for all to see.
The whole school held “Roald Dahl day”, to celebrate what would have been his 100th birthday, where children were encouraged to dress as characters or wear yellow (his favourite colour).
To follow up from our thank you letter from the Queen after we sent her a birthday card.
Primary one came back to nursery to help us create a new crown for her Majesty.
