In September, S2 pupils and some enthusiastic members of staff have had the opportunity to experience a Coastal Wild day as part of our S2’s John Muir Award.

The award is also an important tool in delivering Health & Wellbeing across our curriculum.

As you can see from the photos both the pupils and the staff involved have really enjoyed their experiences and we are looking forward to our Forest Wild days in October and November!

Kara Sharp and Kaylee Tulloch led assemblies to over 300 senior pupils today. The theme was road safety from The British Horse Society. Well done girls!

When passing horses:

  • Slow down to 15mph
  • Be patient, don’t sound your horn or rev your engine
  • Pass horse wide ( at least a car’s width)
  • Drive away slowly
