We have been making waffle batter and cutting up the fruit and veg for snack today. We had to pour milk, oil and weigh out flour, sugar and crack eggs.

Playtime with Primary
Snack Helpers today
We reintroduced snack helpers today. Our VIPs helped Miss Robertson cut up all the fruit, veg and smoked sausage ready for snack time.

We all got to plant our own sunflower today
We got to pick between a yellow sunflower seed or a red sunflower seed. We are all hoping they grow.
Our climbing frame
We worked together to build a climbing frame out of the blocks and sticks.
Mr Sim took his guitar in to play us some songs
We sang 10 green bottles sitting on a wall.
Muddy Puddle Walk 2019
Both classes took part in the Save the Children Muddy Puddle Walk.
We raised £78.50.
Thank you everyone who came along on our walk and donated to Save the Children.
As it was such a lovely day, there was no puddles so we went to the burn and found some muddy puddles there. We all had a great time and we all came back to the Early Years and had some snack.
We made caterpillars with balloons
We have been making Hungry Caterpillars today using balloons. We all decided how many bits of the body it needed and if they were to be dark green, light green or both.
P2 story groups
The Primary 2s came in to Early Years today to read us a story.
New cups and plates
We have got new cups and plates for the snack table. We think they’re great. We had a chat with the teachers about being careful with them because they’re not plastic and will break if they’re dropped.
