Study of Advanced Higher Chemistry aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the physical and natural environments. The course builds on Higher Chemistry, further developing the underlying theories of chemistry and the problem solving and practical skills used in chemistry laboratories. It also aims to develop skills of independent study and thought that are essential in a wide range of occupations.
The course comprises four units:

- Organic Chemistry
- Chemical Investigation
