Learning & Teaching
The P.E. course for S1 & S2 is based on a variety of activities, covering as many aspects of Physical Education, Health & Wellbeing, Expressive Arts, Literacy & Numeracy.
Learning in health and well-being ensures that children and young people develop the knowledge and understanding, skills, capabilities and attributes which they need to mental, emotional, social and physical well-being now and in the future. Learning through health and well-being promotes confidence, independent thinking and positive attitudes and dispositions.
For the B.G.E.S1 & B.G.E.S2 follow a wide and varied curriculum where they each receive 2 periods of P.E. per week. The activities they may cover are:
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Volleyball
- Hockey
- Gymnastics
- Athletics
- Fitness
- Social and creative dance
- Table Tennis
