Support for Pupils

Below is an overview of the clubs and services which pupils can access whilst at the AHS.

  1. A list of the current lunch time clubs and quiet spaces can be found using the link below:

2. We are fortunate to have a fantastic library here at the AHS. Not only is this a great place to pick up a good book, audiobook or DVD, it’s also somewhere you can access reading material which could help you with your life from the ‘Shelf-Help’ section.

For more information about our fabulous library, use the link to access the library’s section of the website: AHS Library (glowscotland.org.uk)

3. The Decider in a short course run by the SEB department in collaboration with our youth workers which is designed to help young people think before they react to tricky situations. Pupils will get information about this course shared in PSE lessons and will then get the opportunity to self-refer.

4. LIAM (Lets Introduce Anxiety Management) is another short course run by the SEB department and Youth and Employability in collaboration with CALMS which pupils will find out more information about in PSE lesson and then can self-refer for.
