The children had to work \u00a0very hard today. They set up their stalls thinking about how to best \u00a0display their goods \u00a0to attract customers; they had a lot of different goods so had to think carefully about this. They took it in turns to serve customers and sell raffle tickets so everyone got a chance to practise \u00a0taking money and giving change. \u00a0They had to keep the stalls topped up and keep them looking attractive all day. They had a lot of customers when they first opened and then others who came in during the day. When the \u00a0sale ended the children had to count their money carefully and share the raffle takings equally between both teams. \u00a0This \u00a0took a while so the older ones \u00a0drew the raffle during after school club. \u00a0Selling-Sensation and Mount Rainbow \u00a0have to make sure they have paid all their costs before they can work out their exact profit and see which team made the most. I think they have all learned how hard you have to work \u00a0to run a successful enterprise and how many things you have to consider.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
