Introduction<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>We are doing a project called Food For Thought; For the Food For Thought we are doing about fish since we live on a island. We are doing our project with Cullivoe Primary School<\/a> (which is on the south side of Yell!) We have started the project at the start of term.<\/span><\/p>\n

We created a website on glow. We created the website because we share links, pictures, videos and documents we have either created or found with the pupil at Cullivoe School. We will also be going on trip over to C and A Thomason (which is \u00a0a mussel farm), we are also going on a trip to see the Norholm which two of the pupils parents own. The Norholm is a well boat, the Norholm moves fish into different cages.<\/span><\/p>\n

What we have been doing?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In Art we have been making salt dough sea animals, there is seahorses, eels, fishes, jelly fish, ragworms, seals, stingrays. First of all we started using play dough to get used to shaping dough into sea animals. We couldn’t take the play dough apart and then added it again so we had to use our pushing and pulling techniques. We had about an hour to do that, we made starfish, dolphins, stingrays and seals. We had great fun! The day after P1 and P2 made the salt dough, and then we all got to use the salt dough to make our sea animals; it was very sticky but great fun, we painted the salt dough animals with\u00a0acrylic paint, acrylic paint can stain your clothes so we had to be\u00a0care full. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Culinary Challenge<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We did the Culinary Challenge, the culinary challenge is where we have to find a recipe that will impress the judges, we decided we do one that has something to do with fish. For more information click on the link below to find out what we made. <\/span><\/p>\n
