Today we went on a long walk to video some of Burravoe. It was really windy so we got all our hats and things on and decided what to video and\u00a0speak about them. We first walked\u00a0to the Kirk to film some facts about it. James and Charlotte spoke and\u00a0Brydon filmed the bit about the kirk. It is a Scottish Episcopalian Kirk. We walked up the Neepaback road and we stopped and filmed Ryan’s\u00a0kye, its not too far from the school. You can\u00a0usually smell them in the summer! Mia and Kerry\u00a0spoke and Kay filmed. We walked a bit further\u00a0and filmed some hens.\u00a0All of them were camera shy. They were in a park at the bottom of a hill,\u00a0above them were some old croft houses and planticrubs. Lucy and Honor spoke and James filmed.\u00a0We battled the wind to half way down the road and filmed a quick bit about the crofts and continued to battle our way to the\u00a0Marina.\u00a0We stopped and filmed the NEW public toilets.\u00a0Brydon and\u00a0Bradley spoke and Kay filmed. The toilets are important to Burravoe\u00a0so tourists and fishermen can use\u00a0toilets and showers and the caravans and camper vans can have electricity. We stomped\u00a0along\u00a0a track\u00a0to a white gate that wouldn’t open!\u00a0We took ages to open it but we sent 3 big ones over and as\u00a0Kay was coming over Jennifer opened it.\u00a0We took a video of the old pier and the noost\u00a0 and James spoke. Then Miss Breyley took a video of the cannon and some of\u00a0the\u00a0horrible weather! We went up the stairs and videoed our cook’s house.\u00a0We carried on up the road and\u00a0took a video of Davie’s chickens and\u00a0lobster creels.
