This Monday that has been we went to the lambing shed. We saw lots of lambs and there were some sheep that were owes. The owes and the lambs had numbers on them so that John knew lamb belonged to which when they run away and the owes have numbers on them so that John knew which owe which belonged to which lamb when they ran away. The owes would have been very heavy and the lambs would have been a little bit heavy. John talked to us about the lambs and the owes. He talked about how heavy the lambs and the owes were and they were in pens so that they didn’t escape. When the lambs and the owes are stronger and bigger they can all go out and they don’t need to be in the pens anymore. The lambs had protective jackets on them to protect them from the wet weather and to protect them from the cold weather. The owes are very protective and they protect and look after the lambs and when we were at the lambing shed they stamped their feet because they didn’t want us to near and to protect the lambs and the lambs were different colors their different colors were black and grey and the owes were white.
