How to make paper Romans

1.Tape some paper together (A3 is best)

2.Ask a friend to lie down on the paper and draw around them.

3.Cut out the paper person (Do a rough cut first it will get rid of any excess paper)

4.Draw on the face and colour in the arms and legs.

5.Stick on crepe paper for the toga (a toga is like a long bit of cloth that the Romans wrapped around them)

6.For the hair stick on whatever lengh of wool you want him/her to have.

7.Now all that’s left to do is let it dry.

  1. Hi I am from Mr. Millers sixth grade class. Those Roman figures were really cool. I am going to try it one day.

  2. Hello Burravoe. I liked your instructions for making the paper Romans. Are you going to show us a picture of the finished ones?

Your museum sounds very exciting too. You have lots of good ideas! Mrs Stewart

  3. A good description – I like the advice about doing a rough cut to make the detailed cutting out easier 🙂
