The languages learnt are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>HTML<\/strong> and <strong>CSS<\/strong> for Web Design and Development<\/li>\n<li><strong>SQL<\/strong> for Database Design and Development<\/li>\n<li><strong>Python3<\/strong> for Software Design and Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Towards the end of the course, pupils will complete an 8-hour assessment in class time. This will assess pupils practical skills on analysis, design, implementation\u00a0and testing. This will make up about 30% of the final course grade.\u00a0The remainder of the course is assessed in a final exam.<\/p>\n<p>The SQA website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/56923.html\">http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/56923.html<\/a>) contains the Course Specification along with a Specimen Exam Paper and Sample Coursework task.
