We will use them in our next lesson <em>Scrape, Tap, Shake and Ting<\/em>\u00a0to teach us about rhythm.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The four videos show you how to make each instrument and introduce use the rhythm cards. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">You will need to collect a few things to make your instruments. Don&#8217;t forget to ask that you can have or borrow the items before you take them and ask for help if you need it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><em>The Shaker\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A small tub or box. We made our shaker from an empty container that was made for spices or gravy granules but you can use any thing you have to hand, such as a small milk bottle or tin.<\/p>\n<p>Dry pasta. You can also try rice and dry peas for a different sound.<\/p>\n<p>Pens, paint or stickers to decorate your shaker.
