Garageband also has a tuner built in, but finding it isn\u2019t particularly intuitive:<\/p>\n

In Garageband, open a new track and scroll to this screen –<\/p>\n

Select the guitar and you should see this screen. Tap the (beautifully highlighted) tuning fork icon \u2013<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s your guitar tuner! It\u2019s not pretty but it works and, as an added bonus, every child with an iPad has access to it.<\/p>\n
