Headteacher Hello<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Mrs Catriona Finn and I am head teacher of Yetholm Primary School and ELC. I want to extend a warm welcome to our school webpage which will hopefully help to give a glimpse into school life. We are a partner school and work closely with Morebattle Primary School (4 miles away). We are also linked with Sprouston Primary School. We work closely together as part of the Cheviot Learning Community with the other schools in and around Kelso. I have been Head Teacher here since May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have 2 classes and an Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) room. Our staff team often work together to provide well-planned learning experiences for our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our vision for our school is that our pupils can strive to \u201cbe their best self\u201d and we attempt to find ways to support and extend that throughout their school experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful rural location that surrounds us helps to make our school unique and we value our community and outdoor learning highly, with a planned approach to ensure our offer is progressive throughout the school building from our free-flow ELC room to weekly in Primary 1-3 and monthly in Primary 4-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
