At Sprouston Primary School , we are passionate about running the daily mile. For the last couple of weeks we have changed our track to make it more interesting. We have put tyres out on the tarmac to make it longer, and to make it even better we run through our willow tunnel.
I think everybody is happier with our new track and I like to run it. (Rory P6)
In March Primary 5 and 6 participated in a Tapestry Workshop. None of us had ever tried tapestry before so it was a great experience. We each got a piece of linen with an oval drawn in the middle which we used to design something from it. I made a horse and everyone else did something different. All of our pieces were unique. Everyone wanted to do Tapestry weekly but we couldn’t! Lastly we got to do a bit of the REAL Tapestry which will be shown in The Great Tapestry of Scotland gallery.
I thought it was brilliant and such an experience! It was such fun!
Thank you The Great Tapestry of Scotland for coming! It was wonderful!!! (Saskia P5)
