In March Primary 5 and 6 participated in a Tapestry Workshop. None of us had ever tried tapestry before so it was a great experience. We each got a piece of linen with an oval drawn in the middle which we used to design something from it. I made a horse and everyone else did something different. All of our pieces were unique. Everyone wanted to do Tapestry weekly but we couldn’t! Lastly we got to do a bit of the REAL Tapestry which will be shown in The Great Tapestry of Scotland gallery.
I thought it was brilliant and such an experience! It was such fun!
Thank you The Great Tapestry of Scotland for coming! It was wonderful!!! (Saskia P5)
