These are aimed at supporting children who are currently on our PSHVT caseloads who will be transitioning to Primary 1 after the summer. These workshops will introduce a strategy called &#8216;Teacher Time&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This course aims to support teachers with:<\/p>\n<p>Building relationships with pupil(s)<\/p>\n<p>Building confidence<\/p>\n<p>Planning of learning activities<\/p>\n<p>Tracking\/monitoring of pupil progress<\/p>\n<p>Enhancing relationships\/communication with pupil&#8217;s parents\/carers<\/p>\n<p>Promote relationships with support staff<\/p>\n<p>Networking with other Primary 1 teachers to share ideas<\/p>\n<p>Providing opportunities to ask questions and engage in professional dialogue<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Audience<\/strong> &#8211; Primary 1 Teachers with pupil(s) on PSHVT caseloads<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 June 2026, 3:30 &#8211; 5pm<\/p>\n<p>16 June 2026, 3:30-5pm<\/p>\n<p>22 September 2026, 3:30 &#8211; 5pm<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Places can be booked through Business World.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pre-School Home Visiting Teacher (PSHVT) Service would like to offer mainstream Primary 1 teachers a series of 3 online workshops on TEAMS.
