The aims are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to enhance leadership learning across pertinent themes<\/li>\n<li>to encourage critical thinking in leaders at all levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BRL+<\/strong> sessions\u00a0are one-off webinars from the Building Racial Literacy team, designed to support all educators in deepening their understanding of racial literacy and strengthening anti-racist practice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, on <strong>Tuesday 11 November, 4pm to 5pm<\/strong> our speakers will be <strong>Jordan Daly and Liam Stevenson<\/strong>, the founders of <strong>Time for Inclusive Education<\/strong> <strong>(TIE)<\/strong>, with a webinar entitled <strong>Leading LGBT Inclusive Education &#8211; Guidance to Practice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>Leadership+<\/strong> webinar is designed to support education leaders to engage effectively with the Scottish Government\u2019s Guidance on LGBT Inclusive Education. It will explore the strategic actions and whole-school\/setting approaches required to embed LGBT-inclusive practice across teaching and learning, and to prevent the stigma and stereotypes that lead to prejudice-based bullying.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/leadership-with-tie-leading-lgbt-inclusive-educationguidance-to-practice-tickets-1786717944469?aff=oddtdtcreator\">Please click here to register for a place at the webinar<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, or use the link or QR code in the attached poster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Tuesday 18 November from 4pm to 5.30pm<\/strong> we<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>are hosting <strong>Practical Approaches to Racism, <\/strong>a webinar and Q&amp;A with <strong>Natalie and Naomi Evans<\/strong> co-founders of the<strong>\u00a0<em>Everyday Racism Project<\/em>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this interactive <strong>BRL+<\/strong> session, Natalie and Naomi will share insights from their work in challenging racism and supporting individuals and organisations to take meaningful anti-racist action. Following a short input introducing their approach and experiences, the majority of the session will be dedicated to\u00a0questions, discussion, and practical strategies\u00a0for enacting antiracism in educational settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/brl-practical-approaches-to-antiracism-with-natalie-and-naomi-evans-tickets-1821060915219?aff=oddtdtcreator\">Please click here to register for a place at the webinar,<\/a><\/u><\/strong> or use the link or QR code in the attached poster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then on<strong> Wednesday 19 November, 4pm to 5pm, <\/strong><strong>Dr Jenni Donohoo <\/strong>will be leading a webinar entitled <strong>Leadership for Collective Efficacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>Leadership+<\/strong> webinar will focus on Collective Efficacy- the belief that through collaboration, educators can improve learner achievement. Anyone who has been part of Education Scotland\u2019s\u00a0<em>Leading Professional Learning<\/em>\u00a0programme will know the extent to which Jenni\u2019s work has influenced its development.
