This programme offers a valuable opportunity for professional development, and we encourage you to share this email with colleagues who may be interested in learning more about becoming a Principal Teacher of Guidance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full Disclosure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be advised that full attendance commitment is necessary to participate. This requires attending <strong>five in-person events<\/strong> at the University of Glasgow<strong> and<\/strong> <strong>five online sessions<\/strong>. Detailed information about the programme is outlined below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The programme consists of <strong>five in-person modules<\/strong> delivered at the <strong>University of Glasgow<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January 2025 (10:00 \u2013 14:00)<\/li>\n<li>Friday 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2025 (10:00 \u2013 14:00)<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2025 (10:00 \u2013 14:00)<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 23<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0April 2025 (10:00 \u2013 14:00)<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 4th\u00a0June 2025 (10:00 \u2013 14:00)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Each module is followed by &#8216;take away&#8217; tasks to implement in your setting, with an online session before the next module to share learning outcomes.\n<ul>\n<li>Monday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> February 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 11<sup>th<\/sup> March 2025<\/li>\n<li>Monday 21<sup>st<\/sup> April 2025<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 29<sup>th<\/sup> April 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 24<sup>th<\/sup> April 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Before confirming your participation, please ensure you have obtained permission from your <strong>line manager to attend the in-person events<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what some of the current cohort have to say about the programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGreat presentation by all staff, great to have realistic overview of the post and balance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHelpful module, good to know I wasn&#8217;t far off in my understanding of the role of the guidance teacher.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Meeting other colleagues was great to build understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI thought the session was really helpful &amp; organised really well. I feel that the training was high quality and well thought through. It felt like we were truly being invested in. I agree with it being an in person experience and I think the way your involved guidance colleagues and their views makes it very relevant. Absolutely brilliant.
