Your help to share them with the schools and teachers you work with would be really appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Why we want to get everyone talking about poverty<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cpag.org.uk\/what-we-do\/project-work\/cost-school-day\/resources\/big-question\">Last year, over 5000 children and young people shared their views in the Cost of the School Day Big Question<\/a>. They said that it\u2019s important we talk more about poverty to help remove stigma and raise awareness of help that\u2019s available at school &#8211; so that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing this Challenge Poverty Week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cpag.org.uk\/what-we-do\/project-work\/cost-school-day\/talking-about-poverty-school-activities-challenge-poverty-week\">We\u2019ve got four Talking about Poverty activities to try out<\/a>. Each activity works well on its own or as part of a set.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Talking to politicians and the government<\/strong> Work together to come up with a question or something you would like to tell politicians and the people in charge of education \u2013 we\u2019ll pass everything along.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Talking to each other about costs at school <\/strong>Find out what other pupils in your school think about school costs and the help people can get with them.
