Education Scotland are delighted to share with you that they have opened applications to Leading the How of Change: Facilitated learning for strategic leadership<\/strong>. This new programme builds on and replaces<\/u> Excellence in Headship.<\/em> Places on Leading the How of Change<\/strong> will be limited, so we recommend applying early to secure your space!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s why we think you should consider applying for the Leading the How of Change<\/strong> programme in 24-25:<\/p>\n

We\u2019re coming to you!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have taken on board feedback about accessibility of some of our in-person learning opportunities. So, for Leading the How of Change we are hitting the road and will be travelling to various locations across Scotland.<\/p>\n

As a participant on Leading the How of Change you will be expected to attend\u00a0one<\/strong>\u00a0of the following core sessions:
\nTuesday 29th October<\/strong> 2024, 10am – 4pm, Dundee<\/strong> Malmaison
\nThursday 7th November<\/strong> 2024, 9.30am – 12pm, online<\/strong> via MS Teams
\nTuesday 12th November<\/strong> 2024, 10am – 4pm, Stirling<\/strong> Court
\nTuesday 19th November<\/strong> 2024, 10am – 4pm, Glasgow<\/strong> Radisson Blu
\nTuesday 26th November<\/strong> 2024, 10am – 4pm, Edinburgh<\/strong> Training and Conference Venue
\nThursday 16th January <\/strong>2025, 1.30pm – 4pm, online<\/strong> via MS Teams,
\nTuesday 18th February <\/strong>2025, 10am – 4pm, Aberdeen <\/strong>Copthorne
\nThursday 20th February<\/strong> 2025, 10am – 4pm, Glasgow<\/strong> Radisson Blu
\nTuesday 25th February<\/strong> 2025, 10am – 4pm, Edinburgh<\/strong> Training and Conference Venue<\/p>\n

The full day session you attend will enable you to network with other leaders from across Scotland to explore key conventions of leading change, informed by practical leadership experience and research-based thinking.<\/p>\n

We have extended the programme to those who hold the Standard for Headship!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Leading the How of Change is open to headteachers and<\/em> those who hold the Standard for Headship, but who may not yet be in a headteacher role.<\/p>\n

We expect high demand for this programme.<\/strong> Places will be given on a first come first served basis. If we are over capacity at a particular venue, we may have to contact you to offer an alternative date or venue.<\/p>\n

Places on Leading the How of Change are fully funded. We have invested in securing in-person venues for the learning days and we cannot recover costs incurred from cancelled or withdrawn applications.<\/p>\n
