Education Scotland\u2019s Professional Learning and Leadership team are delighted to update you on our new offer for the year ahead, and we would be grateful if you could share this information across your networks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>REFRESHED WEBSITE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Education Scotland has refreshed its professional learning offer on its webpage. On here you can<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access Education Scotland professional learning programmes and search for Education Scotland endorsed programmes.<\/li>\n<li>access self-directed professional learning activities.<\/li>\n<li>find co-created workshops to download, tailor and deliver in your settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We would encourage you to signpost the new-look professional learning webpage to staff in your settings: <a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/professional-learning\">Professional Learning | Education Scotland.<\/a> We\u2019ve also created a <strong>brochure<\/strong> with details on all of our offers which you can access <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/design\/DAGGyd2wVIg\/n3zaWsUUDzL1AaMYetxUpw\/view?utm_content=DAGGyd2wVIg&amp;utm_campaign=designshare&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_source=editor\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OFFER AND SUPPORT FOR PROFESSIONAL LEARNING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s an overview of what\u2019s new; what\u2019s been updated; and what we\u2019re continuing this year.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s <strong><u>new<\/u><\/strong> for 24-25?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-directed offers to support educators to take <strong>enquiring<\/strong> and <strong>coaching<\/strong> approaches to practice for the 2024-25 school session. Applications for this programme opened on Monday 12th August, and close on Friday 13<sup>th<\/sup> September.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/professional-learning\/professional-learning-programmes-webinars-and-events\/programmes\/leading-professional-learning-programme\/\">Click here to find out more about Leading Professional Learning<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s been <strong><u>updated<\/u><\/strong> for 24-25?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8216;Excellence in Headship\u2019 becomes \u2018<strong>The How of Change: Facilitated learning for strategic leadership<\/strong>\u2019 and expressions of interest are now open of this new offer for headteachers and those who hold the GTCS Professional Standard for Headship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/professional-learning\/professional-learning-programmes-webinars-and-events\/programmes\/the-how-of-change\/\">Click here to find out more about The How of Change<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our <strong>Aspiring to Middle Leadership<\/strong> and <strong>Middle Leaders Leading Change<\/strong> programmes continue to be offered in the 2024-25 school session. This year, participants can access this learning and where suits you with an optional completion certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/professional-learning\/professional-learning-programmes-webinars-and-events\/programmes\/aspiring-to-middle-leadership\/\">Click here to find out more about Aspiring to Middle Leadership<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/professional-learning\/professional-learning-programmes-webinars-and-events\/programmes\/middle-leaders-leading-change\/\">Click here to find out more about Middle Leaders Leading Change<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What do we <strong><u>continue<\/u><\/strong> to offer in 24-25?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two new cohorts of <strong>Building Racial Literacy<\/strong> will be facilitated this session which we recruited for before the summer.<\/li>\n<li>We continue to offer<strong> Into Headship<\/strong> \u2013 Scotland\u2019s national programme for aspiring headteachers.<\/li>\n<li>Our <strong>Connected and Collaborative Systems Leadership<\/strong> programme continues this year for experienced headteachers and system leaders.
