Introducing our CLPL eLibrary<\/a><\/h3>\n

We are all aware how reading can impact our classroom approaches and in turn improve the outcomes of our pupils.<\/p>\n

Therefore the Professional Learning Team are trialling a new approach to making some fantastic Professional Learning books available by using ePubs and PDFs of some of the most popular and impactful books in the field of education today.<\/p>\n

To borrow a book:

Cluster Professional Learning Libraries<\/strong><\/p>\n

To complement our new E-Library, we would like to ensure that all schools are aware of the Professional Reading which is available within clusters.<\/p>\n

Lots of our schools have already created Professional Learning libraries for their staff and we hope we can add\u00a0to this offer by providing a range of resources in each cluster Secondary School.<\/p>\n

The books which are available can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you would like to borrow a book, please contact the regent within your cluster Secondary School and they will be happy to leave a copy in the school office for collection.<\/p>\n

EBSCO \u2013 Online access to educational journals<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GTCS provides free access to a range of\u00a0<\/strong>online education and leadership journals via EBSCO for all registered teachers in Scotland.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0EBSCO Education Source package<\/a>\u00a0and the Leadership & Management Learning Centre provides access to a collection of over 1,800 education journals, a selection of eBooks, and additional resources, all of which can be accessed using your GTCS account.<\/p>\n

Access to the full range of publications and resources will help you to shape your own professional learning and development.<\/p>\n
