Places can be booked through Business World. If these dates are not convenient, please contact <a href=\"mailto:training@scotborders.gov.uk\">CLPL<\/a> and they will be able to assist you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Aid at Work (3 day course)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 named First Aiders in the workplace. Contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:training@scotborders.gov.uk\">CLPL<\/a> for course availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Requalification First Aid at Work (2 day course)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0named First Aiders in the workplace. Contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:training@scotborders.gov.uk\">CLPL<\/a> for course availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/professionallearning\/2025\/04\/29\/paediatric-first-aid-upcoming-dates\/\"><strong>Paediatric First Aid<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 named First Aiders in the nursery \u2013 places can be booked through Business World and any queries should be directed to <a href=\"earlyyearsteamed@scotborders.gov.uk\">Early Years Team<\/a> for more information\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Diabetes and Epilepsy Awareness Training \u2013 <\/strong>This training is now held on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\/ScottishBorders\/login\/\">SBLearn<\/a>. The training is mandatory for all school first aiders and it is also recommended for Additional Needs Assistants and Senior Management Team.\u00a0<strong>This training should be completed on an annual basis.<\/strong> The School Nurse Team will hold one information session in each cluster (this will not cover diabetes) &#8211; please click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/professionallearning\/2025\/04\/22\/health-care-training-2\/\">here<\/a> for further information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Mental Health First Aiders<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Scottish Borders Council are keen to continue to build a larger team of Mental Health First Aiders for Staff. Currently we have at least 2 within each education cluster but are keen to develop this further.<\/p>\n<p>The current Mental Health First Aiders need to have undertaken training within the past 3 years.
