The Leader Valley ASD Outreach Team are offering a host of Professional Learning this session looking at Autism Support within Education:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In person training written by the National Autism Implementation Team for all school staff, delivered by Cluster Autism Outreach Teachers. Supports SBC priorities around inclusion and universal supports.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Whole School Staff<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Increase awareness of individual needs within the school community.<\/p>\n

Increase staff skills and confidence and share tools to plan for and proactively support the needs of learners.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Awareness of different strategies and resources including NAIT, the Autism Toolbox and Social Stories<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

This introductory session will explore research around increased diagnosis in girls and practical strategies for support in schools.<\/p>\n

Teachers and support staff in mainstream settings<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Increase in knowledge of recent research in the area of girls with Autism and strategies to support young people.<\/p>\n
