{"id":1337,"date":"2024-06-12T15:42:25","date_gmt":"2024-06-12T14:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/professionallearning\/?page_id=1337"},"modified":"2026-03-17T15:21:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T15:21:18","slug":"sblearn","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/professionallearning\/sblearn\/","title":{"rendered":"SBLearn"},"content":{"rendered":"<section id=\"builder-section-text_11\" class=\"builder-section-first builder-section builder-section-text builder-section-last builder-text-columns-1\" style=\"background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat;background-position: center center;\">\n<div class=\"builder-section-content\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-row\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-column builder-text-column-1\" id=\"builder-section-text_11-column-1\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-content\">\n<h2>SBLearn Mandatory Training Modules<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\/ScottishBorders\/login\/\">SBlearn<\/a> is the Council\u2019s online learning platform.\u00a0A Learning Pathway is assigned to all staff to cover all mandatory online learning which includes replacement and refreshed courses.\u00a0 <strong>Learning Pathways<\/strong> are a structured set of resources (internet links, eLearning courses, events and assignments) with a specific objective or training purpose and can be accessed by click on the Learning pathways logo of the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\/ScottishBorders\/login\/\">SBlearn<\/a> page.\u00a0 This area is where you\u2019ll find all your training programmes to complete, e.g. will include all mandatory training, mandatory training for a manager and mandatory training for particular services and\/or posts.<\/p>\n<p>Before you can access the training modules you will need to set up your SB Learn account as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>SBLearn First Time Log in Procedure<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the link or type the address into your browser <a href=\"https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\/ScottishBorders\">https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\/ScottishBorders<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Use your <strong>employee number<\/strong> as your user i.d.<\/li>\n<li>Your Password will be your <strong>Surname<\/strong>, case sensitive, use Initial Capital\/s) i.e. Smith, MacDonald, McDonald, Smith-Jones.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new password.<\/li>\n<li>Set up a favourite question and answer.<\/li>\n<li>SBLearn resources open up as pop ups, so either Allow pop-ups or add an exception from <a href=\"https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk\">https:\/\/app.tessello.co.uk<\/a> in your browser. Safari will block these so you will need to use the Chrome app instead.
