The Employability Award is an introduction to the world of work and is available  at SCQF levels 3 and 4.

The course is five periods a week.

There is no formal exam for this course – pupils are assessed on a Pass/Fail basis via their portfolio of classroom work and progress towards the SQA outcomes and instruments of assessment.

The course focuses on generic employability skills, to enable a successful transition into the world of work.

Candidates will develop skills and attitudes for life, learning and work which will be applicable across all areas of employment.
