{"id":3159,"date":"2021-10-22T12:47:26","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T11:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/p12021\/?p=3159"},"modified":"2021-10-22T12:47:26","modified_gmt":"2021-10-22T11:47:26","slug":"week-ending-22-10-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/p12021\/2021\/10\/22\/week-ending-22-10-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Week ending 22.10.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was great to be back in school after our mid-term break and we all returned ready for learning.<\/p>\n<p>In numeracy, we have been finding the number halfway between two numbers, estimating the position of a number on a number line and rounding to the nearest ten.\u00a0 We know that if a number is halfway you round that number up.\u00a0 So 55 to the nearest ten is 60.<\/p>\n<p>In literacy, we have started to look at the text type Recount and studied the structure of this text.\u00a0 \u00a0A recount text is a text that retells and evaluates events and experiences.\u00a0 The structure to follow is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title<\/strong> &#8211; what the text is about.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Orientation<\/strong> &#8211; When?\u00a0 Where?
