Elections<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week we held our class elections for the Class Representative for the School Council and for the Sustainability Squad.<\/p>\n

Many children stood in front of the class giving their reasons why they wanted the job and what skills they had.\u00a0 Well done everyone.<\/p>\n

The class voted for Rory to be the representative for P3 on the School Council (Ayla is the class secretary) and Emily to be the representative on the Sustainability Squad.<\/p>\n

Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of our science work on The Senses we carried out a smelling experiment this week.<\/p>\n

Drew liked the smell of the sanitiser.<\/p>\n

Imogen liked the smell of the banana,<\/p>\n

Elsie liked the smell of chocolate.<\/p>\n

Emily liked the smell of coffee.<\/p>\n

Ayla liked the smell of cinnamon.<\/p>\n

Gray liked the smell of garlic.<\/p>\n

Kelsey did not like the smell of toothpaste.<\/p>\n

Ciarian did not like the smell of garlic,<\/p>\n

Isaac did not like the smell of perfume.<\/p>\n

River did not like the smell of onion but Rory loved it.<\/p>\n

Numeracy – Measure<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been estimating and measuring in metres and started to make a fish about one metre long.<\/p>\n

Literacy – Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

We described Flicker the little dragon in our novel for our writing and followed the correct text structure.<\/p>\n

Health and Wellbeing<\/strong><\/p>\n

We discussed what makes a good friend and created a Friendship Tree with all our ideas.<\/p>\n

We also said goodbye to Ms Hobbs who has been great help in the class.\u00a0 We made this lovely card for her.<\/p>\n
