Thank you for practising the spelling words at home. We wrote them again this morning and everyone did a great job.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This week we were excited to start multiplication. We\u2019ve been looking at adding sets, using cubes and Lego to help us, and then using the times sign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To mark the start of June and the warmer weather this morning we worked together at our tables to make summer scenes using plasticine. We took turns to share our ideas, negotiated a theme \u00a0&#8211; from an ocean to a garden to a desert island &#8211; and then everyone contributed a plasticine model.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The children\u2019s highlights this week have been:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Learning to multiply <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Making the plasticine models<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reading<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">PE<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lunch!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve had another busy week.
