For each new sound we look through the \u2018Magic Bag\u2019 to guess the sound of the day, think about other words that begin with that sound and learn the song and action. We make a related craft and practise our letter formation on whiteboards. We are also starting to use magnetic boards to blend sounds to make simple words.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/p12021\/files\/2019\/10\/1C9F8749-2639-4DFB-8966-5D30CECF1686-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-705\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/kpselcc\/files\/2019\/10\/1C9F8749-2639-4DFB-8966-5D30CECF1686-218x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Monday we used\u00a0<strong>macaroni\u00a0<\/strong>to make a\u00a0<strong>m\u00a0<\/strong>shape! The PVA glue was quite\u00a0<strong>messy!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/p12021\/files\/2019\/10\/F14F3862-0406-4F1F-BE65-2AD1C9BE1792.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-704\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/kpselcc\/files\/2019\/10\/F14F3862-0406-4F1F-BE65-2AD1C9BE1792-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday we made\u00a0<strong>d\u00a0<\/strong>print newspaper and then made our own <strong>dog<\/strong>\u00a0to stick over the top. Everyone worked very hard and we were delighted with the end results.
