iv`e got a book called Awful Auntie.

its all about an awful auntie that killed a little girls parents called Stella. she was a poor little girl who tried to escape from her awful auntie.She tried very hard to escape but her auntie always tries to act nice since there’s other people around.

I would rate this book 10/10

I read a book called the Tattoo Fox . What I  loved about it was that there was a poor fox   and then another fox came that lived in a  castle  and let him come and stay  with him.  It was a happy .rate 10/10

I am doing a book review on the Ratburger book in Hawick library and I’m going to tell you about it.

the book is horror/mystery.

The main character is called Zoe and she had a little hamster called Gignernut and unfortunately he died :(:(:(:(.

After school she was going home and she popped in to Rajs newsagent shop seen as she was so poor Raj was so kind but not at the same time he gave Zoe a bit of  out of date chocolate and put it back in the wrapper.

Zoe was in her bed and she heard a squeaking sound coming from the corner of her room  and it was a RAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next day Zoe thought of a name for her little rat friend and the name that was chosen was………..Armatige

Everyone asked when they came to her house asked what her rat was called and she said Armatige and also said its a long story.

And that’s all im going to tell you about.

I would rate it 10/10.

There are 3 people, 2 of them are called Zoe and Chloe and their best friend is the princess of the dorks. Her diary is better than my diary you but should not read it because it is a diary.  You can buy it in the shop I am sure a girl would like it. rate 10/8 but I really liked it

I read an amazing book called I’m dougal trump and its not my fault and I really enjoyed it especially when his sister gave him chocolate raisins but they were rabbit droppings . Sometimes it got a bit boring . it was all about dougal trump who broke his arm, cut his finger in a sowing machine and his friends have wrote him a letter saying there is a creature in your shed and you must feed it fruit and if it dies you will die to. but will he survive and be able to keep the creature from dyeing. I think this book could have done with less pictures in it but otherwise this book was great.

This book was about two people playing tricks on each other it was a really good book there names were Mr twit  and Mrs twit

There lived a horse called Rachel and her owner  was called Poppie and her mum was called Emily and her hours was 9 years old and the horse hurt his leg and neck and she fell in a race she had to go to get checked so she would feel better and she was okay in the end but she was so scared that she had to go to another home and get to be free and be in a farm and be looked after  and  her was so up set that she went to see her again she never saw her again.

This book is about a 14 year old girl called Opal Plumstead.She has to go to work at the Fairy Glen sweet factory because her father was put in prison.At first she hated it there because most of the girls in the room she worked in were mean.Luckily,Mrs Roberts the factory owner moved Opal into the Design room where she is more than happy.Opal also plans to become a suffragette like Mrs Roberts.

My favourite part of this book is where Opal’s whole family (Opal,her big sister Cassie,her mum and dad) are all happy.

I thought this book was really good and I rate it 9/10

All the pupils from Stirches and Newcastleton took part in a French  day. My favourite part was the ice-cream and my favourite station was the body parts as to me it was the most challenging. My group was called the raspberries and it was group 10.In those groups we went round 3-4 stations and after those we got an ice-cream. Before that we did a 5-a-day plus we had our lunch and break.

I read an AMAZING!!! book called Lady Lollypop by Dick King Smith.

I loved it because it has a great story line about a princess how wants a pig for her birthday and she gets it. isn’t that CRAZY!!! but she doesn’t stop wanting there.

will she ever stop wanting??

Stirches visited Newcastelton on Monday 15th June and we all took part in lots of fun activities!

I like my book cause it is about adventure‘s and mystery’s and there is a person with 18 arms and 14 head’s .  I enjoyed my book I will give it a 8/10

my Book review on curse of kings

I didn’t really under stand it.

the story was about a man called Oland born and he had fights dangerous cursed dogs , cats , and wolfs.

Recommended for a Bit older people.

                                               This is my book review about Deep Water!!!!!!!

It was a very good book but there was some very hard words. It made me imagine the scene in my head. I would give it a 9 out of 10.The author was Debi Gliori. I would recommend this book to age 9 years or older.  

I read a book called the tattoo fox it was really good.I would like to read a follow up to the tattoo fox.The Tattoo was a brilliant sight the fox came back there every night.There was a short rhyme beneath the chapter number just like the example above this.It was wrote by Alasdair Hutton it was illustrated by Stref and published by Luath press.I would recommend it for people who like adventurous stories.I read it fine but I did not understand some of it.

I would give it 10/10 gold star from me.

IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Vampires Are Living Next Door is all about a village . With no street lights on Halloween so they carry torches around the village

it sounds scary but it is not . It is  not the best book but it is good .  My favourite character was Ryan because he talked a lot . The bit I did not like is there were hard words .

I would rate it 6/10

I read a book called Demon Dentist.

It was really incredible!!!!!!!

Demon Dentist was all about a demon dentist going to pull a little boys teeth out she wanted everyone to call her mummy at school. And she gave a little boy toothpaste that could burn his mouth and even it could burn a rock. The only thing I never liked that is was a horror story. The thing I really liked was that the whole book was really good.

I read a book called Esio Trot.

It was amazing!!!!

Once there was a lady called Mrs Silver and a man called Mr Hoppy. Mr  Hoppy loved Mrs Silver but Mrs Silver loves her pet tortoise called Alf.

But Mr Hoppy finds a way to steel Mrs silvers heart with a little magic and some cabbage!!

I would rate it about 9/10

                                                           Book review for Dust And Bones

I have read a  collection of short ghost stories called Dust and Bones

My favourite out of the 10 stories was ‘The stranger’ as I felt like it set a scene in my head. The only thing I didn’t like about it was I felt that the words were too easy. My favourite character was from the story ‘the stranger’. It was a little Jack Russell (I think) and it was not included much but when it was I found it funny. It is a solid selection of stories but they wont give you nightmares! It was written by Chris Mould and published by Hodder Children’s Books.

I would rate it 6/10
