You can find them on the Scottish Poetry Library website (link below)\r\nPractise often. Everyone needs to learn a poem as part of our Scots language learning. I would love as many pupils as possible to take part in our school Scottish Poetry competition. There will be a winner and a runner up chosen from our class. Good luck everyone.\r\n\r\nThe Sair Finger by Walter Wingate\r\n\r\nYou've hurt your finger?\r\nPuir wee man! \r\nYour pinkie? Deary me! \r\nNoo, juist you haud it that wey till \r\nI get my specs and see!\r\n\r\nMy, so it is - and there's the skelf! \r\nNoo, dinna greet nae mair. \r\nSee there - my needle's gotten't out! \r\nI'm sure that wasna sair? \r\n\r\nAnd noo, to make it hale the morn, \r\nPut on a wee bit saw, \r\nAnd tie a Bonnie hankie roun't \r\nNoo, there na - rin awa'! \r\n\r\nYour finger sair ana'?
