Houses and Homes
Maisie made this fantastic PowePoint at home all about different types of houses and homes. She showed all the things she has learned in ICT and at home about PowerPoint. Well done, Maisie!

Story Street
Maths Fun with straws:
Using 20 straws what is the greatest number of squares you can make?
Using 4 straws and 4 half sized straws can you make 3 squares the same size?
We did! And we enjoyed the challenge.
Moving hands
We made pipe cleaner hands with art straw bones. These helped us see where our joints are. They are cool to put in a hand position.
Easter Fun with a serious message!
We made safety helmets for an egg. With no helmet the egg was smashed. With helmets some eggs were well protected. Remember – always wear a helmet when cycling, skateboarding or ski-ing. Protect your skull, which protects your brain.
Goldentime fun.

Art inspired by music
We used our sense of hearing. We listened to “The Aquarium” music then we dipped our paper into marbling inks in water. It was amazing to see the effect on the paper. We drew the fish and other sea creatures that we had imagined. We added ripped paper for coral.
