We did quizzes, puzzles, colouring, apple dooking and watched \u2018Room on the Broom\u2019. We took home our collage monsters and painted pumpkin pictures. The costumes were fabulous!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1441\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/kpsp11718\/files\/2021\/10\/85CE595D-EC4F-4536-A628-8920916AE17D-300x188.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1442\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sb\/kpsp11718\/files\/2021\/10\/5A585DA2-53EF-432D-A45A-E9FD8EA3142B-300x237.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Other learning this week includes HWB; thinking about the qualities of a friend, grammar; identifying past tense and past continuous tense verbs and maths; compass points and turns.<br \/>\nWe are learning the features of recount writing and looked at time and sequence words. Our task was to work in a group and sort words into the type of time and sequence group they were from. We did really well and learned some new words such as \u2018initially\u2019 and \u2018subsequently\u2019.<\/p>\n\n<p>We are reading the novel \u2018Catscape\u2019 by Mike Nicholson and we made a \u2018Missing Cat\u2019 poster.<\/p>\n<p>Our topic is out of this world &#8211; the Solar System &#8211; and we learned what the different planets are made from.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We had a spooky themed activity morning today!
