Education Scotland\u2019s \u2018Features of highly effective digital learning, teaching and assessment in school\u2019 document outlines the features of high-quality digital learning experiences for all children and young people. It highlights the importance of highly-skilled staff who work with children, young people and others to ensure digital learning is motivating and meaningful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should highly effective digitally enhanced learning look like?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support all schools and settings on their digital improvement journey, a suite of \u2018core expectation\u2019 documents detail the expected and desirable practices. These documents should be used by leaders and practitioners to ensure core practices are in place within and across all classrooms and spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A full audit tool that looks at all areas of digital use can be downloaded and used by schools\/departments to assess how good they are against the 4 Key areas identified by Education Scotland: Planning, Teaching, Learning and Assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tracker shares examples of what highly effective practice looks like to allow staff to reflect and plan for next steps in the improvement journey.
