Enhance and Support Writing with Digital

Publishing for a Real Audience

Technology allows us to connect with the real world in authentic ways. Engage learners in writing tasks for an audience outside your classroom – use Book Creator online where learners can add to their writing with images and audio recordings and then you can create links to share their writing with home and beyond.

These guides are for the app and we recommend the online version to be able to see all the books your class are working on and be able to publish! The tools are very similar! Please contact a member of the team if you would like to set up an online book writing library with your class. To download, press / click the image.

Quick guides to useful tools

These two guides will support your learners in their writing.

First up is speech to text for those learners who can write great stories but find typing tricky. Second we have immersive reader where learners can get their story read back to them to hear errors. Immersive reader is also great for highlighting parts of sentences such as verbs and adjectives which will help learners with their targets.
