Take a Moment

This term, we have been working to better understand our emotions and how to cope with these. We spoke yesterday about stress and how we can manage this effectively.

The top tips for managing stress are: exercise, making a list, socialising, getting in touch with nature, deep breathing and meditation.

We took part in a short guided meditation in the classroom to try this out and discussed how it helped us to feel calm.

If you would like to try guided meditation at home, there are lots of videos on Youtube and a few free apps that may be useful.
