4/5 Snack Attack by Felix
This block we opened up a company called 4/5 Snack Attack.We sell a lot of healthy snacks like smoothies,fruit mix,packet of bread sticks,Mellon slice and backed crisps. In this company we all have different jobs I am a food preparer which means I do a lot of chopping.
Some of my Friends are advertisers,bankers and most important of all MD. The MD’s are Thomas and Ross. we sell about 5 bits of fruit 6 bread sticks 12 smoothies 2 Mellon slices and 5 packets of crisps
Over 2 days the best seller has been the SMOOTHIES we sold over ten each day.
Eddleston Health week
We started our Health Week with a lovely walk in the spring sunshine. We were all very impressed with how well the children walked and it was even warm in the sun.
We have learnt about the Commonwealth games as this is our focus this week and Mrs Inglis taught us all some great songs from some of the countries in the Commonwealth.
Primary 1-4 learnt to do some First Aid with our visitors who are First Responders from Penicuik. They put a friend into the recovery position and tried CPR on their teddies. On Thursday Primary 5-7 will have a morning of First Aid with Mrs Pye.
Primary 4 and 5 have enjoyed running the tuck shop this week and would like to thank Gemma, Jonathon and Finlay for letting them do this.Smoothies have been a big hit and they have enjoyed watching their pennies grow. They are hoping that they will have sold enough to pay Mrs Taylor the loan of £20 that they had to borrow to get their business started.
We are only half way through our Health week so there is lots more fun to come.
Cross Country Run
The Cross Country run was so much fun the people that ran it were Jonathon, Joe, Connor and Rory we all really enjoyed it. We were all happy with the place that we came.
Healthy snacks
As part of their Health and Wellbeing Primary 4 and 5 have been making some delicious healthy snacks. Last week they made banana and strawberry smoothies. This week they made a snack of hummus, vegetables and pitta bread. They all enjoyed tucking in !
