For instance, consider how fresh air, natural materials, and areas for digging, growing and splashing in puddles can contribute to a child\u2019s learning and development in ways that could never be achieved indoors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>p9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Settings should offer flexibility and an appropriate balance of time between indoor and outdoor environments.
