Before use of the Learning Powers:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Discuss with the children how they think they learn<\/li>\n
  • Use the Learning Powers and after a few weeks when the learning powers are embedded, ask the same question and then reflect on the children`s answers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Reflect on records of children`s voice in your setting <\/strong>(these may be found in the Floorbook, Learning journals Wall displays\u2026)<\/p>\n

    • Are the children using the language of learning?<\/li>\n
    • Are they using the names of the learning powers?<\/li>\n
    • Do staff observe children demonstrating the learning powers without adult interactions? i.e concentration, perseverance, coping with failure, trying again on a task\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
