This Early Level Portal was structured around the

Scottish Borders Council Learning, Teaching and Assessment Framework,

with Early Level Pedagogy at the heart.

Structuring it in this way enables us to:

• Create consistency – Learning, Teaching and Assessment underpins everything we do – so it should drive practice
• Cement the perception of ELC as an intrinsic part of Learning, Teaching and Assessment across Early Level
• Give all Early Level Educators a shared and understood language
• Support and improve practice and fluidity across Early Level
