Hello we are the Playground Police from primary 5-7 pupil groups. We would like to make our playground more colourful and bright. These are the people who are helping to make this happen. Leo, Marnie, Lucius, Katy, Kayla, Gracie, Josh, David, Adam, Rannoch, Megan, Arran, Harry, Archie, Tay & Gregor. Channelkirk’s playground is empty of safe climbing and accessible areas. It’s full of slopes and tarmac. However there is also lots of grass that becomes very muddy in wet climates.

The Playground Police are split into 7 groups: playground markings, fundraisers, outdoor classroom, small ideas, gardening group, sandpits, and interesting low cost ideas. They all have separate targets that we would like to reach. To do that we need some money. On that subject we would like to say thank you to the fundraising group for raising £101.33 on world book day (find out more at our ‘world book day’page). That is just one of the 4 fundraisers planned by this group.
