At Burgh we strive to encourage and celebrate children\u2019s achievements within and out with school. We use our PRIDE assemblies to celebrate children\u2019s achievements in demonstrating qualities which support our Aims and Values.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u200bWe will build strong relationships with an understanding that excellent partnerships between all are vital in successful learning. We understand that building strong links to the community are essential in developing a positive ethos and learning environment within the school and local area.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will help our learners build resilience, enabling them to adapt to and overcome life’s challenges, helping them develop a determination to succeed. We aspire for our learners to be motivated and enthusiastic in all their learning, and strive to reach their full potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Inspiration<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will ensure that our young people have access to a wide range of inspiring learning experiences which help children to identify their skills and talents. Achievements out with and inside school are celebrated and shared within our community. Learners are encouraged to share successes across all of their learning, giving inspiration to others.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Diversity<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming and nurturing school who celebrate the diversity and unique nature of our local community. We have a supportive and inclusive ethos which is at the heart of our school life. This provides the children with a strong foundation for building attitudes of acceptance and tolerance.<\/span><\/p>\n

We value creativity and excellent teaching and learning across the curriculum. Staff recognise children\u2019s strengths and abilities, and use this knowledge to tailor learning to suit every child.
